Where we started
RENTY offers long-term car rental in Latvia — from 5 months, for individuals and businesses, with prices quoted on request. The website had to present the fleet as a premium offer and turn interest into an enquiry, rather than just list the models. The second requirement was day-to-day content work. The fleet changes — cars arrive, get rented and leave — so adding a car or editing a line of copy could not depend on a developer. The site also had to work in Latvian and English, with proper SEO for both languages.
What we built
MBC built renty.lv on its own MBC content management platform (Laravel). The fleet is a collection with its own fields — year, fuel, gearbox, seats, availability and a gallery — car classes are categories with their own pages, and every section is a page built from reorderable blocks. Enquiries are stored in the system before the email is sent and go straight into the client database.
- Fleet catalogue with filters by class (Premium SUV, SUV, Commercial vehicles, Sedans) and search by make or model
- A page for every car with specifications, a gallery and an enquiry for that specific car
- Quick enquiry bar on the home page — car, rental period and phone number in one row
- Full enquiry form for individuals and businesses with consent to data processing and newsletters
- Separate sections for individuals and businesses, each with its own offer
- Bilingual site (LV/EN) with hreflang and a sitemap
- Content management — the client edits cars, pages, menus, the footer and short copy in the admin themselves
- Enquiries are stored in the system and become contacts in the client database
- Cookie consent bar and GA4 analytics
