Where we started

Latvijas Cūku Audzētāju Asociācija (LCAA) brings together pig farmers across Latvia and provides resources important to the industry — training, seminars, medication information, producer contacts and project management. The association website had to serve both as a public calling card for the industry and the public and as a working tool for members and industry participants themselves. The main challenge was structuring the wide range of content: news, veterinary resources, a medication catalog, ASF information, projects, a producer map and documentation — all in one place, with clear navigation for each user scenario.

What we built

MBC built the LCAA website with a structured content architecture and separate sections for each use case. The website serves both as a public source of information about the industry and as a working tool for farmers — with a medication catalog, a producer map, a projects section and veterinary resources.

• Bilingual website: Latvian and English
• News section with industry updates and seminar announcements
• Veterinary resources — a medication catalog with safety data sheets
• Producer map — a geographic visualisation of the pig farmer list
• Project portfolio with a years-long project archive (2016 → present)
• ASF (African swine fever) section for industry crisis information
• Documentation and bylaws section for members
• WordPress administration — the LCAA team can publish news and resources on its own
