Where we started
Metkon is a metalworking company founded in 1996 that works with B2B clients in the machine building, construction, commercial equipment, food and electrical engineering industries in Latvia and the EU. The previous website was outdated and no longer matched the company level — neither in design, structure nor technology base. The service range (laser cutting, perforation, sheet bending, powder coating, turning, milling, welding) is specialised, and each area has its own B2B client with their own searches. A website was needed where each service area has its own page — both for easier information finding for the client and for SEO visibility for specific searches.
What we built
MBC built the Metkon new website from scratch — a modern WordPress platform in three languages (LV, EN, RU) with separate pages for each service area. The website serves both as the company calling card for international clients and as an SEO base for targeted B2B metalworking searches.
- Multilingual website: Latvian, English and Russian — for the Latvian and EU markets
- Separate pages for each service area: laser cutting, sheet bending, powder coating, turning/milling, welding
- "Fields of operation" page with an industry overview (machine building, construction, commercial equipment, etc.)
- Product section for metal structures and parts
- Energy efficiency section — to present an EU recovery fund project
- Mobile version — works for both client teams and exhibition visitors
- WordPress administration — the Metkon team manages content in all three languages on its own
